“You are consciousness dwelling temporarily in the body you are in now” -Robert Moses.
Robert Moses has taught yoga and Vedanta philosophy since 1972.
His life journey as a yogi
In this episode we delve into the amazing history and journey of Robert Moses. He was a swami in the Sivananda yoga tradition and traveled many places, not realizing his path would be where it is today. We are so lucky to have this opportunity to hear so much about yoga beginning in the west from a first hand source.
He lived for twenty years in ashrams, studying yoga, meditation, and Vedanta. Robert then married and worked in the outdoor retail industry as a photographer, maintaining daily sadhana and teaching yoga and Vedanta.
He guides annual pilgrimages to sacred sites in India. He also co-publishes a magazine, Namarupa: Categories of Indian Thought.

The chant Robert does at the end:
Om Puurnnam-Adah Puurnnam-Idam Puurnnaat-Puurnnam-Udacyate |
Puurnnasya Puurnnam-Aadaaya Puurnnam-Eva-Avashissyate ||
Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih ||
Meaning:
1: Om, That (Outer World) is Purna (Full with Divine Consciousness); This (Inner World) is also Purna (Full with Divine Consciousness); From Purna is manifested Purna(From the Fullness of Divine Consciousness the World is manifested),
2: Taking Purna from Purna, Purna indeed remains (Because Divine Consciousness is Non-Dual and Infinite),
3: Om, Peace, Peace, Peace.
